Garde is a surly bastard who skulks on the sideline and looks like he doesn't have time for anyone (not even for himself).
My view is Villa believe they've gone if he stays, and he will get tinned soon enough to give them even a small chance of survival.
No point in loading the boat if its sinking...

The board and sporting director had Sherwood over in the summer by signing young untested French players he didn't want. Massive risk as Sherwood wanted the likes of Richards, Townsend and Lennon, players with proven premiership backgrounds.
Makes you realise how well so many of our transfers have gone over the last 3 years.

I understood he had a list of targets. At least one went to another club (as you would) & one didn't get a work permit.
That's what happens when you are adrift unless you pay silly fees and stupid wages. Which you get stuck with when you go down
